Fully automatic and self-contained, the electronically controlled Model 130 is a free-standing unwind mechanism, designed specifically to handle difficult material feeding problems. In case of an overfeed due to a sudden stop, it automatically rewinds any excess material. Modular construction provides setup flexibility for paying out different types and widths of materials. Controls consist of an ON/OFF switch, indicator fuse, and two separate trip circuits. Custom versions can be provided on request. The speed is matched from the first to the last wrap of material, whether single wound or traverse sound, small or large diameter. This model permits unusually smooth operation during acceleration , continuous payout, or deceleration. The user can specify different tensions along with three different maximum rates of feed. The tension of the first and the last wrap is exactly the same.
